Research Interests
I am interested in network design and automation, optimization, deep reinforcement learning and scheduling algorithms. More specifically, I design network architectures to guarantee the quality of heterogeneous services across a large geographic region using distributed algorithms. I head the Wireless, Communications and Networking (WiNC) domain in the Dept. of ECE, PES University. I am also the head of the System Design and Automation group which comprises of research scholars, faculty members and students from ECE department. We work on wide range of research problems such as

Teaching interests
Proposed several UG and PG courses (theory and lab) in the Electronics and Communications Engineering. I was responsible for the setup of the Computer Networks Lab based on Wireshark, Python and GNS3. I also introduced programming in python and using CVXPY and CPLEX for solving optimization problems. I have taught courses such as Network Analysis and Synthesis, Computer Communication Networks, Digital Communication, Optimization, Wireless Networking, Artificial Neural Networks and Introduction to Queuing Theory.
Other activities/Responsibilities:
Long-time reviewer for several leading international journals such as IEEE TSG, IEEE IoT Journal, IEEE TVT, IEEE TII, IEEE TPWRS, IEEE JSAC and IJEPES, Applied Energy.
