PFMEA (ECU) Moderator (acc. to AIGA-VDA) with target of production line risk reduction affecting costs and product quality. So far:
~12 Production lines in 4 locations; 5 product families (>200 layouts); >60 Processes (Back-End, SMD & TestEnd).
Standardization and Lessons Learned (LL) in PFMEA (ECU);
Interface with R&D (Design-FMEA & System-FMEA) and design for manufacturing;
Interface with Plants for PFMEA, CP, Standardization over FMEA, support in audits, training.
Lead of Industrialization projects (Prototype Line, New Processes, equipment, new products and components) in different plant locations
>48 equipment/ >16 MiO euros / >7 product families (>300 Layouts)
Process development continue improvement and standardization.
ECU production, SMT, Press-fit technology & Inspection processes;
Definition of KPIs/ requirements and specifications
Processes development (with R&D) & equipment (with suppliers). Definition of production requirements: KPIs, layout, etc.
Problem solving (5 whys, Ishikawa, statistic, etc) at plant;
Improvement of production KPIs=> cost reduction.
Interface with R&D
Design for manufacturability / 6sigma; Coordination of DOEs and trials @prototype or @Plants;
Definition of standards for mass production (assembly requirements & product interfaces).
Research & development of new processes and methodologies for the synthesis of super-paramagnetic nanoparticles of MFe2O4 (M = Fe, Co, Mn)
Development, design and production of new coatings based on semiconductor oxides (TCOs and TSOs) in clean room environment using multiple deposition techniques;
Applications in micro/optoelectronic devices, photovoltaic cells, etc.
Design & production and characterization/ test of TFTs and other ICs.
Technical lead, on national and international (European) projects, in the field of microelectronics / nanotechnology, and material science;
Supervision of graduation and MSc. Students.
