Individual Membership is open to:
Individuals elected, appointed, employed by, or primarily retained by municipal, county, or state governments, or regional authorities, in Virginia, or public, educational, or governmental access organizations, and not working directly or indirectly for commercial communications providers.
Associate Membership is open to:
Individuals from non-profit or profit-making organizations, or students, involved in the planning, development, programming, or research of cable and other telecommunications systems, and not working directly or indirectly for commercial communications providers, as associate members with more limited benefits.
What's the Best VATOA Membership For You?
Individual Members have voting rights in all Association and committee business. Associate Members participate in all Association and committee business, but not in voting for officers and amendments to the Bylaws. All members receive VATOA member rates for publications and registration fees at VATOA conferences and training activities.
