Abbreviations

The Game List uses the following abbreviations:

Video Quality

Grade Definitions are based on the video's appearance on a 42 inch plasma TV.

A - Excellent - Near broadcast quality with only slight imperfections or better.

B - Good -  Picture quality has flaws that compromise sharpness, color, or tracking.

C - Fair - Multigenerational copy with significantly compromised sharpness, color or tracking.

D - Poor - Watchable with substantially degraded picture clarify which makes viewing difficult.

F - Rough - Unwatchable or almost unwatchable.

Recording Type

Broadcast - Original TV broadcast.

DOC - Documentary about a team, game, season or person.

GOTW - "Game of the Week" summary by NFL Films or similar presentation.

Highlight - Edited to significantly reduce run time to focus on the major action.

Silent - No audio.

Team - A film made by the team for game evaluation and trading with opponents.

TWIPF - An excerpt from "This Week In Pro Football" highlights by NFL - Films or similar presentation.

Video-Radio - Radio or other commentary merged with game film from various sources.

Comments

B&W - Black and White video.

Complete - Includes the action between plays but could be missing portions of the game.

Condensed - Action between plays has been removed incuding huddles, penaties, replays etc and could be missing other portions of live action.

JIP - Joined in progress

Partial - A significant portion(s) is missing, usually the equivalent of a quarter or more.
