Flight Regulations:

Fixed Wing Aircraft (FWAs) Regulations:

  1. Fixed Wing Aircraft may only land on certified runways and landing strips (explained below).

  2. Fixed Wing Aircraft must maintain a flying altitude of Y-130 or above, the only exception is when landing or taking off.

Rotary Aircraft (Helicopters) Regulations:

  1. Rotary Aircraft may only land on certified helipads or landing pads (explained below).

  2. Rotary Aircraft must maintain a flying altitude of Y-100 or above, the only exception is when landing or taking off.

Lighter-Than-Air Aircraft (Hot Air Balloon) Regulations:

  1. Lighter-Than-Air Aircraft may only land on certified helipads or landing pads.

  2. Lighter-Than-Air Aircraft must maintain a flying altitude of Y-80 or above

Fixed Wing Aircraft Runways and Landing Strips

No Civilian or Private Entity may own or operate a Fixed Wing Aircraft Runway or Landing Strip

Rotary Aircraft Helipads and Landing Pads

Only certified Helipads and Landing Pads may be used on Private and Commercial Properties. A private or commercial entity may make an application to the Department of Transport detailing Why they require a Helipad or Landing Pad, Where they wish to place it and What they wish to design it with. It will then be either approved or denied, if approved a certificate will be issued and the helipad may be constructed and used. It is an offence to use or operated and unauthorised helipad or landing pad.

All government helipads and landing pads are automatically granted certification.

Emergency Services & Department of Defence Exceptions

Pursuant to Article 1, Section 4 of the Traffic Reform Act the following "regulations and policies necessary for the enforcement of this act" are issued.

Law Enforcement

  1. Law Enforcement Aviation Vehicles may contravene the above regulations in reasonable circumstances.

    1. Reasonable circumstances include;

      1. Active threat to the prisoners security or a credible threat to the prisoners security

      2. The prisoner has been arrested in an area not accessible by road or marine vehicle.

      3. Active or Credible threat to life.

      4. Emergency landings in accordance with Emergency Landing Act

    2. The breach of the above regulations must be approved at by someone equal to or above the rank of Captain. Except in the Circumstances of the Vinish Transport Police.

      1. A Vinish Transport Police member equal to the rank of Inspector or above may block the approval of the breach contained in 1.1.

  2. The transportation of prisoners in fixed wing aircraft within any and all Vinish Airspace is prohibited

Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Service

  1. Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Service may contravene the above regulations in reasonable circumstances.

    1. Reasonable Circumstances include;

      1. When the condition of a patient is at a critical risk level and air transport is the only logical option to ensure the patients survival.

      2. To transport mass numbers of members quickly to the scene of a "Major Incident" (Refer to Emergency Scenes Act)

      3. Emergency landings in accordance with Emergency Landing Act

Department of Defence

  1. Department of Defence may contravene the above regulations in reasonable circumstances.

    1. Reasonable circumstances include;

      1. Training Exercises which have be approved in writing by the Federal Flight Administration OR Secretary of Transportation OR The Transportation Undersecretary.

      2. When on active operation where the breach is critical to the success of the operations objectives.

      3. Times of war.
