Personal History:

I grew up in a Christian home. My Dad died a Christian, and my mother is a Christian. My sister and brother are also still faithful Christians, and my brother also used to be a preacher. When I was 9, I was baptized into Christ by David Parks, preacher at the time in Grafton, Ohio.

In 1995, I felt moved to become a minister of the Word of God. I made preparation for this by attending the East Tennessee School of Preaching in Knoxville, TN, and Heritage Christian University in Florence, AL. (More on this under "Education") I feel I have much life experience, having worked in everything from food service to factory labor; from sales associate to Executive Management before I even started any higher education, then working my way through college, and preaching and teaching the whole time. I have experienced several different cultures, and can adapt quickly.

I have never been married, however, I am planning to be to a wonderful Christian lady, Veleena Guarino, of Tulsa, Oklahoma. We wish to wait until I am settled in my new home before we make that move, very soon thereafter.

College: Heritage Christian University , Florence , AL. Graduated May, 2001. Degree: BA, Bible; Minor, Old Testament History.

Graduate School : Master's International School of Divinity, Evansville , IN. Graduated 2010. Degree: MA, Contemporary Apologetics

Graduate School: International Bible College, Beckley, WV. Conferred the Doctor of Theology Degree, December, 2014.

Ministry Experience: While I was in Preaching School and while I was in University, I spent an average of three weeks every month preaching anywhere I could. As a result, I have preached in over 70 congregations across 32 states and one foreign country (Peru). A list can be furnished if desired. These are some of the more permanent (located) works:

Specializing:

Over my time as a minister, I have gained experience and am well able to do all the following: Preaching, Teaching (all age levels), song leading, prayer, Gospel Meetings, bulletins, articles (in Brotherhood publications), door-knocking, home Bible study, counseling, weddings, funerals, and tract writing. I am also skilled in Inner City Missions, and leading campaigns. Most recent specialized works are Community events, visitation program, church web sites, and public devotionals. I also worked extensively as a co-host with one of the elders here at Mineral Springs on a weekly radio program. I can send CDs of some of those, if you wish.

I'm a self-starter.

An Elder at Mineral Springs and I have written a book together, which is in the publishing phase and scheduled to be available in the Spring 2023. I hope to have my second out in the Fall 2023.
