The purpose of the Technical Committee on Vibrations is to foster activities pertaining to vibrations, vibration and dynamics modeling, vibration controls, and related technical areas.
The committee functions include:
- Promotion of education, training, and dissemination of new knowledge on the field of vibrations including vibrations and dynamics modeling, vibration controls, and related technical areas
- Organization of seminars, workshops, symposium, and conferences focused on the field of vibrations.
- Interacting with other members of the ASME-Dynamic Systems and Control Division.
- Recognizing individuals who have significantly advanced the field of vibrations throughout their careers.
