New Map!

Our first attempt at making a timeline map was not working out well due to difficulties in modifying and understanding the D3.js code. Although the 3D Interactive globe looked great, it lacked the ability to handle the functionality that we needed from it. For these reasons, we have decided to use a different Javascript library, Mapbox.js. Mapbox.js is used by many very large websites around the world to create custom maps with ease. We have adapted this library by using the angular Leaflet Directive and we now have a much better map interface. The map can be seen in the same place, linked from the main page of our website.
