Ecclesiastical Architecture of Venice:
Preserving Convents, Churches, Bells and Bell Towers
Mission Statement:
This project aims to contribute to the preservation of Venetian religious art and architecture by identifying the condition and urgency for restoration of artifacts and exploring potential reuse of ecclesiastical structures.
Objectives:
To investigate the condition of bell towers, their bells, and clocks, and their potential reuse.
To update the catalogue of adaptive reuse of convents in Venice.
To promote the preservation of church floor artifacts and guild altars.
