Title. Nonlinear impairments aware resource allocation : signomial programming
Abstract. In the scientific literature, there is a lot of work concerning resource allocation for wireless communications. However, the nonlinearity of some devices (such as the power amplifier) is never taken into account. Here we propose to show how to manage the nonlinear effects for the resource allocation. We propose methods for solving these non-convex problems, called Signomial Programming. The gains obtained by these methods outperform the traditional empirical approaches. The results and gains obtained in this research work show the importance of taking into account nonlinear effects in resource allocation problems. This is a joint work with Arthur Louchart (Ass Prof à IMT Nord-Europe) and Charly Poulliat (Prof at ENSEEIHT).
