Chair Yoga is a gentle, accessible program designed to improve mobility, flexibility, joint health and balance. Each class begins with a brief mindfulness meditation to cultivate awareness of the body and mind and ends with rest. Guided breathing exercises promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support a calm, grounded state. Yoga poses are guided and slow, primarily seated, with an option to participate in some standing movements. There is no experience required and this is a low-impact beginner's class.
