Utica Christmas Tree Lighting

The Utica Christmas Tree Lighting event has become a fun event for the marching band. Students meet in the Jimmy Johns Field parking lot in full uniforms, Santa Hats, and decorated instruments and march across to the clocktower park to play Christmas songs and welcome Santa to the city for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

This year will have a special appearance by Master of Ceremonies Roop Raj of WJBK-TV (Channel 2).
There will also be a special appearance of former Detroit Red Wing and Stanley Cup Champion Darren McCarty.
