The Friends of Design at UofT will be hosting a design showcase for engineering students to have an opportunity to present, experience, and get involved in some of the design work taking place in and around the University of Toronto.
Date: Wed. Jan. 19, 2011
Time: 12-2pm
Location: GB202, Galbraith Building, 35 St. George St.
Have an idea or project you want to present? Send a brief description (max. 100 words) and a maximum of 3 powerpoint slides motivating the project or idea to friendsofdesign@eecg.utoronto.ca by Mon. Jan 10th 2011. Submissions can be from individuals, teams, or organizations. Include the following information in your submission:
- name of organization (if applicable)
- primary contact name and email address
- Project title
- Presentation format (poster/talk/both)
Selected students, teams, clubs and outside organizations will present their latest designs and and ideas. This is an opportunity for you and your team to recruit new designers and developers, promote your project and learn about other projects taking place within the U of T community.

U of T Mechatronics Design Association
U of T Robotics Association
Tetra Society
U of T Solar Car Team
Canadian National Institute for the Blind
Submissions will be reviewed and accepted participants will be notified by Fri. Jan 14th, 2011.
