Mic and Video Checks

It's an easy task, really. Go to the Zoom menu in your client and choose "preferences," then "Preferences.

I don't recommend a tablet, and you will NOT want to use a phone. For this demo, I used my laptop.

Check your "Test Speaker" button as well as the "Test Mic." You may need to adjust the mic and perhaps speaker drop-downs to the R of the test buttons, if you are wearing a headset.

If your headset doesn't appear in the drop down, I advise panic. Blind panic. Seriously, don't panic. You may need to replug it in or even restart the machine.

When you click the test-mic button a second time, it will playback what you have said, so you can get a sense of what others hear.
