Images of the down-conversion rings from the Type II Spontaneous Parametric Down-conversion single photon source in our lab.
The video shows the appearance and disappearance of the Type I down-conversion ring by the rotation of a polarizer. This is a proof that the ring we observe in the video is indeed due to parametric down-conversion.
