IMEA Audition Information

Date: Monday, October 12, 2009

Departure Time: Check in at 6:15 AM with your director at the Iowa Street Entrance of Urbana High School, then board the busses. Bus #1: High School Band, Bus #2: High School Choir (and High School Orchestra overflow), Bus #3: High School Orchestra & Middle School Orchestra, Bus #4: Middle School Band & Middle School Choir

 Place of Auditions: Bloomington Junior and Senior High Schools

 BAND AND ORCHESTRA STUDENTS ONLY: Please sign-up for an audition time at your assigned audition room as soon as you arrive, then go to the homeroom and warm-up rooms. PLEASE GET AN EARLY TIME, SO THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO LEAVE ON TIME OR EARLIER.

 Things to Bring: Instrument & Audition Music, Accessories (reeds, mutes, valve oil, rosin, etc.)

Audition Attire: Please look nice for your audition.  No jeans, T-shirts, or gym shoes.

Money: There will be concessions available. 

Return Time: We will load the busses as soon as everyone has completed his/her audition(s). Hopefully we will be able to leave Bloomington around noon.  We should be back at Urbana High School no later than 1:30 PM. Please have your ride waiting.
