KANJI SNOW ART CONTEST 2019
Create a kanji in/on/with the snow and get extra credits (and prize!?)!!
2018 Winner: Kierann O'Hara "結婚" -marriage-
How it works:
Create an art piece in/on/with the snow. It can be anything; snow sculpture, a drawing in the snow, a drawing on the wall with the snow, etc...be creative! (Google "snow art" and see images to get inspired!)
The art piece must be/contain a kanji you learned in your Japanese class in Fall 2018 and/or Spring 2019.
Take a picture of your art piece and send it to Suzuki-sensei <ssuzuki@unr.edu>by Friday, April 26, 2019.
You can send as many entries as you would like. Each entry will be counted as a separate entry (therefore, more entries= more chance to win!)
You can work as an individual or a team. If you work as a team, everyone on the team will get points.
We will vote at the end of the semester, and the top 3 winning individuals/teams will get extra credit.
Your entry must not infringe on any copyrighted material and must not plagiarize any other work.
By submitting your work, you are agreeing to the Japanese program’s use of your work and name on their media, including but not limited to the department’s websites, decorations in Cain hall, and any Kanji Snow Art contest webpages in the future.
If you have any questions, please ask Suzuki-sensei: ssuzuki@unr.edu
