World Book Night

World Book Night is a celebration of books and reading held on April 23rd, the international day of the book, (as well as St George's Day!), which sees 20,000 passionate volunteers across the country give copies of one of 25 specially chosen, brilliant books within their communities.The Uffculme Library Friends' volunteers have books to give away under this scheme and will be around the village tonight, from about 7 p.m. Find us in The George, The Ostler, around Central Stores, Markers, Ozzie's and the Co-op.
