The Ropes: Understanding and Engaging Youth Homelessness

The Ropes: Understanding and Engaging Youth Homelessness specifically addresses youth and young adult homelessness in a hands-on three hour training. Here you will find out about the causes and characteristics of youth homelessness, the nature of street life and culture, and tools for engaging with these at-risk youth and young adults. New Horizons is located at 2709 3rd Ave, Seattle 98121. It is a green building and the entrance to New Horizons is on the corner of 3rd Ave & Cedar in Belltown. Just buzz the green doors and we’ll let you up!  Please arrive early to find parking. Paid parking is available on the street (we don’t own the lot next to the building).

The Baker House is located at 4718 15th Ave NE, Seattle WA 98105. You can get to the entrance of the Baker house through 15th Ave NE or through the alley that runs parallel to it. On 15thAve there is a staircase that leads up to the houses, or if you head into the alley from the parking lot or from 47th, it will be the second house on the left.
