Sanctuary Art Center is a non-profit serving homeless and at-risk young adults ages 13-25. Our mission is to provide a safe, warm and calm environment for youth to experience creativity and success through the use of various artist media. We offer a variety of services contained within three main programming areas: Drop-In Art Studio, Art Education, and Employment Internships. Within these programs, areas of instruction include but are not limited to; painting, drawing, ceramics, stained glass, sewing, fabric arts, theater arts, improvisational acting, guitar, piano, and screen printing.

King County Safe Place is a crisis intervention program that connects runaway and homeless youth ages 12-17 to services, either through family reunification or emergency shelter placement. The program is a collaboration between Friends of Youth and YouthCare.
Youth can access King County Safe Place services through the 24/7 hotline, 1-800-422-TEEN (8336), or by visiting a Safe Place site designated by the yellow diamond logo (buses, libraries, community centers, YMCAs, etc). A Safe Place Coordinator will meet with the youth to discuss the situation and can provide transportation to meet with family or to an emergency shelter.

Street Soccer Seattle is soccer for social change. Our mission is to foster the camaraderie, community, and confidence that are central to the sport of soccer to empower homeless individuals to find greater success and peace in their lives. At our core, we organize soccer teams for players from Seattle’s shelters, streets, and transitional housing programs, helping connect them with a positive, supportive community and resources to achieve their goals, on and off the field.
Programs and Services
Soccer Drop-in and Practice; Thursdays, 5:30 - 7:00 pm at University Presbyterian Church's Larson Hall. All welcome, no experience required, we can help provide gear if contacted ahead of time.
League Games; We play as a team in a Seattle Indoor League on Sunday nights. Must participate in Thursday Soccer for eligibility.

Lifelong's Health Education Youth Outreach (HEYO) is a queer youth (16-24 years old) sexual health education program that strives to foster a community that prioritizes empowerment, self-determination, and resiliency over stigma, fear, and condemnation. Through monthly events, young LGBTQ youth will gather to create community, offer peer support, and gain education around sexual health and queer themes.
HIV Testing:
Every 1st Monday at Orion 3:30-6:30pm
Every 1st Friday at PHRA 1-5pm
Every 2nd Thursday at Teen Feed dinner 7-8pm
Every 3rd Tuesday at New Horizons 8-10am
Every 3rd Friday at SYM 1-4pm
Last Monday of the month at UW’s Q Center 1-4pm
People seeking shelter ages 18-25 can call (206) 632-1635 or come to our door between 8:00PM and 8:30PM and ask to be put on the list.
If more than 45 people are trying to access shelter, then a random drawing is done at 8:30PM to determine who will be turned away. The doors open for sign-in at 9:00PM.
ROOTS provide drop in on Drop-in with Case management snacks and Hygiene services on Mondays from 2-6pm.

Stop by the University Branch Library Drop-in for snacks, board games, resume & cover letter help, resources and referrals. You can also connect to a Seattle Education Access (SEA) education advocate and Youth Clinic staff (Youth Clinic staff provides bus tickets to go to clinic).

The Seattle Public Library gives you 24/7 free access to books, music, movies, TV shows, classes and more! The University Branch has a large meeting room with a piano that can be reserved, paperback books that can be borrowed without check-out, laptops that can be checked out for in-building use, a scanner (no charge), resume help, resource lists, and more.
