PhD, Chemical Engineering, 2019
I like to play soccer, cricket, badminton and table tennis. Also, watching superhero and action films is my favorite pass time. In my PhD, I am working with high powered lasers to study laser-matter interaction and their application for immediate debonding-on-demand.
Bioengineering, PhD - 2nd year
I am a UCR Alum who has returned to complete my Ph.D. My research focus on laser induced schockwaves and development of drug delivery particles for phototherapies.
Material Science & Engineering, PhD - 2nd year
Spectroscopy of photosalient crystals
Bioengineering, PhD - 4th year
Hello! I am Tonmoy, a 4th year PhD student in Dr. Hyle Park's lab in the Bioengineering department. My research is focused on reducing speckle in polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography (PS-OCT). In leisure, I like traveling, doing photography, trying new foods, and playing FIFA.
Bioengineering, PhD - 3rd year
I study mechanical characterization of cells with the use of Optical Tweezers and Quantitative Phase Imaging (QPI)
Bioengineering, PhD - 3rd year
Life is full of excitements & colors. Yet to figure out most of it. Curently, dealing with the red blood cell derived optical nanoparticles.
Bioengineering, PhD - 2nd year
I study mechanical and viscoelastic properties of cell membranes using Optical Tweezers (OT) and Quantitative Phase Imaging (QPI)
