This might happen because of problems with an online study or if a participant showed up to your study by mistake. If you need to add participants manually, you can do so by (1) creating a timeslot that has already passed and then (2) manually entering each SONA ID into the timeslot.
1. Creating a timeslot: When creating the timeslot for this, be sure to create it for a date and time that has already passed so that other participants cannot sign up for it. Follow the instructions for adding timeslots on the SONA FAQ page. Change the number of participants for the timeslot as needed.
2. Manually entering participants: Navigate to "My Studies" and click on the "Timeslots" option for the target study. Select the "All Timeslots" tab, and click the "Modify" button beside the target timeslot. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and then use the "Manual Sign-Up" section to manually add participants by SONA ID. You may wish to include some note to participants explaining the situation so that participants aren't confused about the email notification they'll receive. You may then go about granting credit for participation as you normally would.
