The Librarian Spotlight Series is a collaboration between the UBC BCLA (British Columbia Library Association) and UBC YAACS of the UBC iSchool to celebrate current information professionals and to prepare current and prospective iSchool students for their future careers.

Alan Woo
Alan Woo is an Information & Teen Services Librarian with Surrey Libraries, and worked one year in the Collections Development department. He graduated from the iSchool in 2016 and is also the author of two children’s books, Maggie’s Chopsticks and David Jumps In.
