Welcome to the U3A Helderberg Hiking Group

 This group is part of the U3A organization, in the Helderberg, offering day hikes to local members and other U3A groups as well as visitors.

 We provide a range of outings on Tuesdays, both locally and extending further afield.

The different levels of outings begin with a less physically demanding hike - usually not exceeding 4 hours.

Various graded hikes are usually available each week, starting with Ramblers at up to grade 2 hikes to strenuous grade 3C for the more active souls.

Grades are described in The Hike Grading System.  * Be sure to familiarise yourself with the hike grading before going on a hike.*

 No charges are payable other than park or private entry fees and a suggested passenger contribution to driver costs.
