Who is Ms. Davis?

Hello,

My name is Mayen Davis and welcome to my science website. The purpose of this site is to review topics covered in class, view projects, experiments, gain background information, and access educational websites.

Who is Mayen Davis?

I grew up in Latham, NY (which is a suburb of Albany), was college bound at 18, and graduated from Drexel University, in Philadelphia, PA. While in Philly, I learned how to eat a pretzel properly (warm with spicy mustard) and found a delicacy that can only be enjoyed there - the Philly Cheese Steak! My hobbies include traveling, singing, and finding the best chocolate this planet has to offer! My goal is to visit all 7 of the big continents in my lifetime.

In 2007, I obtained my Masters of Science Degree from Touro College in Manhattan, NY., and in 2017, I received a Masters of Science Degree for Educational Leadership. I began teaching elementary school in 2002 and made the switch to middle school in 2010. Since then, I have also taught science, math, special education and technology at Touro College and science pedagogy at York College.
