Being himself:

He was always handsome and athletic. I turned my back on the boys to get something out of my Durango before finishing unloading hay. The boys were playing in the far end of the field, decided to run up toward me, and while everyone else turned right Shamus/Lance decided to jump up and over the bale on the edge of the trailer and onto the trailer then saw there was hay to eat. Luckily it is rough surface composite decking with dry dirt to land on so he had plenty of traction to move around and get down (maybe 18" high where he got off at). After he got safely off the trailer he kept playing with his mini friend who would have joined him up there if he was taller. I don't care if you want to criticize me for what ever reason. I have never seen something like this happen before and I don't know if I will see it again from a horse but in my opinion it captures some of his personality, athletic ability, and the brave horse he is. Hills, ditches, water crossing, puddles, and banks were never a problem for him.

** Please note: Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I rented pasture in Pullman and some photos or videos are from before I moved things or before hot wire was put up. I don't care if you want to criticize me for whatever reason. But before you make assumptions ask me your questions, contact me, or even come meet me in person. My horses and I reside in Ellensburg, WA. I have photos if you want to see them or are worried about my horses and their living situation. The facilities in Pullman, WA were set up for cows and I modified some things but my horses are smart enough to avoid a feeder, trailer, and farm equipment. They did not need to be babied or put in bubble wrap! In Kooskia, ID I did not own the 40 acre property which was a temporary situation because I could have all the horses together. I put hot wire up for my own sanity and their safety but I was not willing to spend $20,000 to fence a place I did not own and was moving from. Now that they are in Ellensburg feel free to come see the place, my horses, and meet me for yourself. ~Karlin **
