STATEMENT BELOW:

" Dear All:

Many people are aware of the COTH thread and my reference in others. I am not wasting my time posting on a forum when the posters did not contact me directly. Especially to find out my side of the story. Here is a large point. The smaller ones will change when I move to a better location in 2013.

So here it is. I used to own the stallion Freelance who was bred and born in Canada at Twin Valley Ranch. He is a frame overo silver dapple buckskin ½ paint and ½ draft. I was honest about his sire and dam. I did market him as a Canadian Warmblood which was a mix up on my part. He was American Warmblood Society eligible. When I searched online it was hard to find the distinction from Warmblood and Sport Horse when I looked before marketing him. I have learned the lesson and the difference. I sold him in September of 2011 to Allie Vetch-Helinsk of Sport Horses R Us who at the time was honest about horses bloodlines. She started and continued his training and then marketed him at stud. She changed his name which was perfectly fine. She messed up big time by falsifying his pedigree when she recorded him with RPSI. When I learned he was recorded I assumed she used his real pedigree until the website and DreamHorse ad came out. When I sold him she was given multiple copies of his pedigree and the AWS application papers already filled in. I am in no way connected with Allie or Sport Horses R Us. I will not be doing any business with her in the future. If I had know this all would have come from what she did I would not have sold my stallion to her. He is a fantastic boy! I cannot change the past. I have learned from it and will change thing in the future.

As for the other posts. There are horses and ponies I have known for several years and I like to follow their progress. If I have a chance to purchases them then great. If not I just want to see them happy. The horses I have for sale in my opinion (and I'm sure in several others as well) are not the quality I want to breed or work with. The may trade for hay on some of them is to supplement for the 36 tons of local grass hay I already have. I only needed 28 tons of hay but more hay never hurts! The other horses that looked under weight and people jumped to conclusions have medical reasons. Contact me if you want to know more about them. The "pot belly" look is from the poor Idaho pasture grass they were on in addition to hay. All of the horses are free feed grass hay or have access to it. For those who don't know the amount of hay tossed every day is calculated using 3% of their body weight and determined by checking the feeders in the morning and at night when they are fed again. This system has worked for 4 over years. The horses also receive a combination alfalfa pellets, LMF SS, rice bran, beat pulp, Cool Calories, and vegetable oil both AM and PM or PM only. For the claim against false papers and background on a thoroughbred. How can her photos, tattoo, the papers in hand, her Equineline and Equibase information, videos, and all her recorded information that I provided be wrong or false? They stated the same information I summarized on multiple websites. You did not do your research good enough and you claim to know thoroughbreds? I cannot be at fault for anyone who jumps to conclusions after doing half of the research and making an assumption. Anyone who want's to look the information up on Equineline and Equibase for yourself feel free. The horse is Charm School Girl a 2004 dark brown KY bred mare. I cannot provide the papers since they went with the mare to her new owner; surprise surprise.

In summary I wish things had not gone as far as they did because the threads are overly twisted truths, opinions, and assumptions. If anyone wants to see my horses, the set up, and their condition they are more than welcome to. I know they all have email which is the best way to contact me considering the valley we live in. I am trying to reduce my horse numbers because I have no use for the two TB mares and the rest are retired, growing, or just started in training. I want to only have 2 or 3 foals each year and get back into riding. With the extra horses I can’t comfortably switch gears.

I’m not a mean person. I screwed up on selling one horse! I admit that. Come meet me and judge for yourself. Please don’t believe everything you read online. I know Debbie Love aka LovelyBay has some issue or attachment and really wants to know what happens to me. I have no idea why but please take her stories with a grain of salt. She know's bits and pieces but not everything! I have an email to prove it; second hand information is a dangerous thing. I have never been evicted from a barn like she has and I do not regret helping her find a place for her mare but I do not understand her attachment to me after all these years. I also told my clients who have read the thread to not post or comment on it. Those on COTH feel free to print screen and/or copy and paste so you can keep it forever.

Sincerely, Karlin

** Please note: Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I rented pasture in Pullman and some photos or videos are from before I moved things or before hot wire was put up. I don't care if you want to criticize me for whatever reason. But before you make assumptions ask me your questions, contact me, or even come meet me in person. My horses and I reside in Ellensburg, WA. I have photos if you want to see them or are worried about my horses and their living situation. The facilities in Pullman, WA were set up for cows and I modified some things but my horses are smart enough to avoid a feeder, trailer, and farm equipment. They did not need to be babied or put in bubble wrap! In Kooskia, ID I did not own the 40 acre property which was a temporary situation because I could have all the horses together. I put hot wire up for my own sanity and their safety but I was not willing to spend $20,000 to fence a place I did not own and was moving from. Now that they are in Ellensburg feel free to come see the place, my horses, and meet me for yourself. ~Karlin **
