As we continue our journey to enhance science education across Texas, we are excited to highlight an important initiative: the adoption of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM). We understand that the teaching landscape is ever-evolving, and our primary goal is to equip you with the best resources to inspire and engage our students.
The Burden of Material Search
Did you know that according to research teachers, on average, spend 7 hours a week searching for supplementary materials? On top of that, many dedicate an additional 5 hours each week to creating their own resources. This time-consuming process can lead to burnout and detracts from the time teachers could be spending on understanding the lessons and interacting with your students.
What Are HQIM?
High-Quality Instructional Materials are thoughtfully designed resources that align with educational standards and provide rigorous, engaging content for students. These materials are not meant to be overbearing or restrictive; rather, they serve as a solid foundation upon which you can build your lessons. HQIM are designed to meet the diverse needs of your classroom while reducing the time you spend hunting for resources.
