President's Message

On behalf of the Texas Council of Elementary Science (TCES), I am delighted to welcome our members and partners. Since our founding in 1984, TCES has been dedicated to supporting elementary science educators across the state and advancing science education for every student in Texas.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to provide opportunities for connection, collaboration, and professional growth for educators who inspire curiosity and a love of learning in young scientists. Through our professional learning programs, virtual collaborations, and signature events such as the Annual STEM Spectacular at CAST, we strive to equip teachers with the knowledge, resources, and community they need to excel in the classroom.

We are proud to be a STAT affiliate, working together to elevate science education statewide. Whether you are a long-time member or joining us for the first time, TCES is committed to fostering meaningful connections, sharing best practices, and celebrating the innovations that make elementary science teaching so impactful.
