2024 Nominations and Election Process

We are looking for outstanding candidates with new and diverse perspectives to serve a more active role in the BWG! We especially encourage the nomination of current members that have not had the opportunity to serve yet and are at any stage in their career. Please consider nominating someone you know (including yourself) for these critical board positions to lead BWG efforts over the next year and beyond.

This year we will be filling the following seats on the Executive Board:

• Chair-elect: 3-year term, progressing to Chair (year 2) and Past Chair (year 3) 

• Secretary: 2-year term 

• Four Board Members: each serving a 1-year term 

For specific duties of each officer, refer to the Biometrics Working Group Charter. 

The deadline for submitting nominations is September 1 , 2024 using this form: BWG Elections Nomination Form 2024 .  A list of candidates and their biographical sketches will be included in the BWG Fall Newsletters, and the election will be held occur prior to the 2024 TWS Annual Conference.
