Intellimouse
To install a Microsoft mouse, install the IntelliPoint software. Then, connect the mouse to the computer. To do this, use the following methods in the order in which they appear.
Install the IntelliPoint Software
To install the IntelliPoint software, use one of the following methods.
Download from the Internet
To download and install the latest version of the IntelliPoint software, follow these steps:
Visit the following Microsoft Web site:
On the list, select your device.
In the other fields, select the appropriate options.
Click Go.
Click the software link to download the software.
Click Run this program from its current location, and then click OK.
Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to install the IntelliPoint software.
Restart the computer.
Install the software from the CD
To install the IntelliPoint software from the CD that is included with your pointing mouse, follow these steps.
Note If you did not receive a CD, or if you cannot find the dusk, follow the "Download from the Internet" steps instead.
Insert the Microsoft IntelliPoint Setup CD into your CD drive.
If IntelliPoint Setup does not start automatically, use one of the following methods:
Windows 7 or Windows Vista
Click Start
In the Start Search box, type the following command line:
drive:\setup
Note In this command, drive represents the drive letter for your CD drive.
Windows XP
Click Start.
Click Run.
In the Open box, type the following command, and then click OK:
Note In this command, drive represents the drive letter for your CD drive.
Follow the instructions to install the IntelliPoint software.
Restart your computer.
Install a Microsoft mouse
To install a Microsoft mouse, use the appropriate method for your pointing device.
Connect a Universal Serial Bus (USB) IntelliMouse to the computer
To connect a USB IntelliMouse mouse to your computer, follow these steps:
Start the computer.
If the PS/2 adapter is connected to the USB connector on your IntelliMouse mouse, remove it.
Locate an available USB port on your computer or USB hub.
Plug the USB connector for your IntelliMouse pointing device into an available USB port on your computer or on a USB hub that is connected to your computer.
Follow the instructions to install and configure the IntelliMouse pointing device.
Connect a PS/2 mouse to a serial port on your computer
To connect a PS/2 mouse to a 9-pin serial port on your computer, follow these steps:
Turn off the computer.
To connect one of the following PS/2 mice to a 9-pin serial port on your computer, connect the serial adapter to the PS/2 connector for your mouse:
Microsoft IntelliMouse
Microsoft IntelliMouse Pro
Microsoft IntelliMouse Trackball
Microsoft Wheel Mouse
Plug the serial adapter for your mouse into the rectangular 9-pin serial port on the back of the computer.
Turn on the computer.
Follow the instruction to install and configure the mouse.
Connect a Microsoft wireless mouse to the computer
To connect a Microsoft wireless mouse to the computer, follow these steps:
On the bottom of the Microsoft wireless mouse, open and remove the battery compartment door.
Insert two fresh batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that you point the positive (+) ends of the batteries toward the positive contacts in the battery compartment.
Note Batteries are included with a Microsoft wireless mouse.
Replace and close the battery compartment door.
Plug the receiver into a USB port.
Note We recommend that you use a port on the computer, not a port on an external USB Hub.
Follow the instructions to configure your IntelliMouse mouse.
Note When you travel, consider removing the batteries from the Microsoft wireless mouse before you board any aircraft. The Microsoft wireless mouse emits radio frequency (RF) energy when the batteries are installed, even if the mouse is turned off.

Setting up your webcam
1. Place your webcam
i.Designed for the way you like to make a video call place the Webcam c920 where you want it—on
a computer monitor, desktop, or tripod.
ii. For placement on a monitor
iii.Grasp the webcam and open the flexible/clip base with your other hand. Mount the webcam,
making sure the foot on the flexible/clip base is flush with the back of your monitor.
2. Connect your webcam
i. Install the software
a.If you’re using your webcam with Windows®8, the software required is downloaded automatically when you connect your webcam for the first time, and installed silently in the background.
i.Important: Make sure you’re connected to the Internet,so the software can be downloaded.
b.If you’re using your webcam with Windows®7 or Windows Vista®, you must install the Logitech®
Webcam Software, available from:
logitech.com/downloads
3. Getting started with video calling
i.Your Logitech HD Pro Webcam c920 provides full HD 1080p video calling.
ii.To take advantage of video calling both you and the person you call must install Skype™, or use
a different video-calling application such as Yahoo!® Messenger, Windows Live® Messenger
or Gmail

ii.As well as a webcam and video calling application, both callers need:
a.A computer with speakers (or a headset) and a microphone; your Logitech HD Pro Webcam c920 has two built-in microphones.

1.Setting up your keyboard and mouse
i.Remove the cover on your Keyboard and mouse
ii.Insert 2 batteries into your keyboard and 2 batteries into your mouse.
iii.Turn on the on/off switch on your mouse.
iv.Plug in the USB adapter into your computer
v.Windows will automatically install the drivers necessary.

Memorex Slim Portable Hard Disk Drive
Turn on.
turn on your computer and wait for it to finish loading.
Connect.
Connect the USB cable to the portable hard disk drive.
Connect the USB cable to your computer
Install.
Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the hardware installation fo your new Portable Hard Disk Drive. You can also verify that the Portable Hard Disk Drive is listed along with your other drives.
Windows: On your desktop, double click "My Computer", and verify that the Portable Hard Disk Drive is listed along with your other drives.
Mac: Verify that the drive appears in your desktop.
If the drive does not appear on your computer, please consult the manufacturer's documentation for installing USB storage devices.

DVD Recorder 8x - External
Installation:
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to
install your new DVD recorder.
1.Start Here
a) Plug in Mini USB Connector to the rear of the drive
2.Locate the USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 connections on your PC. Connect main USB power cable to PC. If needed for extra power, connect secondary USB cable.
3. a) To install software, insert the installation CD in the drive and close the disc loading tray.
b) Software installation should start automatically.
If not, open My Computer and double click the icon for your CD drive to start the installation
c) Follow on screen instructions to complete installation.
4. a) Hover mouse over each category icon to see options available.
b) Select appropriate task and follow on screen instructions

Drive Operation
1.Disc Loading tray
a)Holds the CD or DVD disc. Open the loading tray by pressing tray button.
2.Led indicator
a)This indicator displays the drive status.
3.Tray Button
a)Press this button to open or close the disc loading tray.
4.Forced eject Hole
a)Opens the loading tray when the tray cannot be opened using the eject button. Insert a pin
like tool (like a straightened paper clip) into the manual eject hole and push gently to eject the disc

USB Micro TravelDrive
Setting up your TravelDrive:
1.Plug the TravelDrive into your USB 2.0 port.
2.Windows will automatically install the drivers necessary for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 8.1.
Flash drive is not shown in Windows Explorer.
Try the following:
Plug the device directly into your computer's USB port (do not use a USB hub.)
Plug the device into another computer on another network.
Try checking the unit under Device Manager to see if the flash drive is being recognized there, and to see if there are any error codes.
Try changing the drive letter.

HP Console Switch G2
If you have never used a KVM (Keyboard, Video, and Mouse) switch, and work on many computers, you are wasting resources. A KVM switch lets you go between 2 or more computers at a time through one Keyboard, Monitor, and Mouse. It saves a lot of money having to buy extra equipment. You can easily switch between Computers by using a special button (Most common is pressing the Scroll lock key twice and pressing the number of the PC you want to use).
