ON-CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION

Housing for Wednesday and Thursday night is included in the cost of Full Registration. A block of rooms has been reserved at the University’s Schäffer Hall student residence:

Single Room
Private Washroom
Linens and Towels (but no housekeeping)
Desk
Wireless Access
Common Lounge with Cable TV
Breakfast (multiple options on campus)

Additional rooms (without breakfast) at Schäffer Hall have been reserved for the Tuesday and Friday night, and either or both of these nights can be booked separately with your registration (at additional cost) if you wish to stay for extra nights

OFF-CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION

Out-of-town registrants may choose to pay the Commuter Registration rate and arrange for their own accommodation. There are hotel options in the vicinity of the UofA campus, and also downtown, which is only a short train ride across the river via Edmonton's Light Rail Transit (LRT)
The one hotel directly adjacent to campus, and a five-minute walk from the Boot Camp venue, is the Campus Tower Suite Hotel

PARKING

There are 3 lots adjacent to the Schäffer Hall residence that offer parking for overnight guests only at $7 per vehicle per night (from noon til noon). Inquire at the registration desk when checking in
NOTE: With the number of Fort MacMurray evacuees currently staying on campus these overnight lots are quite full and available space is not guaranteed
UofA Parking Services manages multiple lots on campus, with daily rates for commuters
For daily commuters the most convenient lot for quickest access to Cameron Library is the Education Car Park which is located at the corner of 87 Avenue and 114 Street. Rate is $15.00/day

ATMs ON CAMPUS

The Student Union Building (SUB) has a cluster of ATMs from all major Canadian Banks. There is also a generic ATM at the Faculty Club
