Who gets to be on the competition team?
Who gets to be on the competition team?
All girls on the JV or Varsity Sideline Cheer Team are eligible to be part of the Competition Team.
The competition team is selected from the athletes on the Sideline Cheerleading team.
Competition Cheerleaders are chosen based on several criteria which include skills, endurance, drive, passion, and work ethic.
Not every member of the Sideline Cheer team will be part of the Competition team.

Competition Cheerleading's time requirement is an addition to the Spring Cheerleading Schedule - meaning that all Competition Cheerleaders are still required to attend Sideline Cheer events.
Practice Times for Competition team are decided as the season progresses, and may be added on top of Sideline Practice times.
For the 2025-26 Season, Competition Cheer practices take place during Sideline Practice Time on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Competition Schedule is released during the fall semester.
Competitions will most likely take place on Saturdays but can occur on other days of the week.
