While this is no longer a national award. Troop 0555B has received permission to work with the Greater St. Louis Area Council (GSLAC) to offer this amazing program to our Scouts. For details please see Mr. Ward to get started. All STEM Counselors and Supernova Mentors are registered and current in Safeguarding Youth Training with GSLAC.
The STEM Supernova Awards are designed to take Scouts on a deep dive in various STEM topics. Each Supernova Award is named after a famous scientist or inventor and has a medal associated with it that is presented to the Scout.

Scouting America and Drones: Scouting America© is an FAA-approved Test Administrator of The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST). TRUST is a collaboration between the FAA and industry to provide TRUST and educational safety material to Recreational Flyers. Recreational flyers can access the TRUST here
