About Us

Troop 70 is located in Oakhurst, New Jersey. It is part of BSA's Monmouth Council and is in the Thunderbird District. Meetings are held every Tuesday night from 7:00 - 8:30pm at the First United Methodist Church* located at 103 Monmouth Road, in Oakhurst NJ with the exception of the PLC (Patrol Leader's Council) meeting, which is the first Tuesday of every month.

*Currently, troop meeting are being held outdoors and via zoom meeting due to the Corona Virus. We're looking forward to resuming in person meetings soon!
