Wreath Fundraiser & Popcorn Fundraiser

All Year Long Troop 46

Troop 46 collects & recycles aluminum cans to help our environment & to raise funds. Historically, the proceeds from our recycling effort have helped to fund Troop operations, equipment purchases, & camperships.

Typically, individual Scouts & their families collect the cans in trash bags at home. Then, once a month or so, the Scouts bring them with to Troop meetings. Sometimes, we have contests to see what Scout patrol brings in the most cans.

We store the cans in a collection area at Grace Lutheran Church. As frequently as needed, a recycler then picks them up and issues a check to T-46 for the aluminum value.
