You must complete all of the below items to complete your membership registration process and receive the Scout Rank.
□ The Troop uses a Google Group for both communications to Troop members as well as a password protection system for our calendar and files.

The following needs to be completed and submitted at a troop meeting:
□ Scout Application
□ Health Information Form (Parts A & B minimum, Part C for summer camp)
□ $30.00 Membership Fee
□ $100.00 Dues ($50 September, $50 January)
Additional Requirements
□ Purchase a Boy Scout Handbook
□ Purchase a full and complete Scout Uniform
□ Scout Shirt
□ Great Lakes Council Shoulder Patch
□ World Scouting Crest Patch
□ American Flag Patch
□ Scout trousers or shorts
□ Scout web belt
□ Scout socks, any length
□ Troop provides red/black neckerchief, green shoulder loops, '103" numeral patch and patrol patch
Upon joining, you will:
□ Study Scout Requirements
□ Memorize the Pledge of Allegiance
□ Know how to do the Scout Sign, Salute, & Handshake
□ Know how to tie a Square Knot
□ Read and understand the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, Slogan, & Outdoor Code
□ Read and understand the parts of the Scout Badge
□ Do Requirement 9, "Complete The Pamphlet Exercises." With your parent or guardian, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse: A Parent's Guide
□ Participate in a Scoutmaster Conference
□ Show your signed book to the Advancements chair
Meetings at 7pm every Tuesday when school is in session at New Hudson United Methodist Church, 56730 Grand River, New Hudson, MI. 48165. Once you have a Google ID, you may view the calendar of events, and review the Google Group discussion for any last minute changes.
