What do I wear to the Academy sessions?
Dress is business casual.
What are the lodging options during the Academy?
We reserve a block of rooms at the Rizzo Conference Center http://www.rizzoconferencecenter.com/ at a special nightly rate for non-local academy participants. This rate includes breakfast. Please call (919) 913-2098 to reserve your room. Ask for "Reservations" and mention "TRLN Management Academy."
Guests of the Rizzo Center enjoy:
- Overnight accommodations in McLean Hall. Guest rooms feature a micro-fridge, free wireless internet, flat screen TV, and electronic laptop safe
- Full hot breakfast buffet in the historic DuBose House, a Georgian Revival gem listed on the National Register of Historic Places

How do I get from the airport to Chapel Hill?
Several modes of transportation are available at the airport. Airport to Chapel Hill Transportation options:

- Rental car (ten agencies available at RDU) - http://www.rdu.com/groundtrans/rentalcars.html
- Triangle Transit Authority stops at RDU airport terminals, the fare is $2.25 with one transfer. The trip takes about an hour and half to Chapel Hill.
How do I get around in Chapel Hill?
The Chapel Hill buses are free within Chapel Hill. Visit Chapel Hill Transit's information page to learn more. Taxi service, car rentals, and Uber are other available and popular options. The Rizzo Center has complimentary local shuttle service within five miles of the center, as well as taxi and car rental information available.
Where will the Academy sessions be held?
The sessions will be held at the Rizzo Conference Center, near the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
How much should I plan to spend on parking?
Parking at the Rizzo Center is free.
Are there any planned evening events or excursions?
An evening reception takes place on one evening at the Rizzo Center. Aside from that, no official evening events are planned. Attendees may coordinate dinners or other activities together. In the past, local attendees have arranged "dine-arounds" with out-of-town attendees.
Are any meals included as part of the program?
Yes, for those staying at the Rizzo Center, a full breakfast buffet and lunch are included each day. For those choosing not to stay at the Rizzo Center, lunch is still included each day, but morning snacks are included instead of the full breakfast. (Morning snack items may include hard boiled eggs, pastries, and fruit.) Dinners are not included; however heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served one evening at the Academy Reception. Attendees are encouraged to arrange dinners and other after hours events together.
Where do I eat and shop?
The Rizzo Center has onsite dining - elegant in the dining room, or lighter fare in their sports bar. Meadowmont Village is a 3 minute drive from the Rizzo Center and has many shops and eateries. Chapel Hill offers a wide variety of restaurants to suit any craving.
