Tri-State Cross Country Coaches All-Area Teams

Previous All-Area Teams (2015-Present)
The Tri-State Cross Country Coaches All-Area Team was established in an effort to recognize the best local Tri-State Cross Country runners. This inaugural All-Area Team will be comprised of athletes from the following schools across the Tri-State area:
Illinois: Illini West, Liberty, Macomb, Mendon Unity, Quincy High School, Quincy Notre Dame, Pittsfield, Rushville, West Hancock
Iowa: Keokuk
Missouri: Bowling Green, Clark County, Hannibal, Highland, Mark Twain, Marion County, Palmyra, South Shelby
To qualify for nomination all athletes must meet one or more of the following criteria and be nominated by their respective Coach. Each school is limited to 5 nominees per gender:
All-Conference in team's respective conference
All-District/Regional Medalist
Sectional and/or State Qualifier
From those nominated, the selection committee will review each candidates profile and select the following for both boys and girls:
Tri-State Runner of the Year
Tri-State 1st Team All-Area : 10 Members
Tri-State All-Area Honorable Mention
The Tri-State Coaches All-Area Selection Committee consists of:
Matt McClelland-QHS, Jared Schmidt-Liberty, Nick Koetters-Palmyra, and Matt Chance-Bowling Green.
