Who we are

Trinity Fellowship ELCA was created in the fall of 2010 by a group of believers holding true to the centuries-old but ever-dynamic values of the Lutheran Church in the world we face today. We meet weekly in worship and have been welcomed into the facilities of First Presbyterian Church. We share worship services and mission with that congregation and occasionally with Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

Trinity members have an exceptional commitment to each other, and we participate rigorously in worship, friendship, and prayers, inviting others to join us. We welcome the participation of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, educational backgrounds, and economic conditions. There is a place for everyone at Trinity.

We reach out in mission and evangelism with love and with our resources and gifts. Ten percent of our gifts go directly to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Southeast Minnesota Synod, for regional support and to the world-wide church for mission and hunger relief programs around the world. Another 10 percent is directed to local mission needs such as flood relief, the food shelf, Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Good Earth Bible Camp, and the Backpack Food Project in which Trinity enlisted other area churches.

The question of bread for myself is material question, but the question of bread for my neighbor, for everybody, is a spiritual and religious question.
