Methodological Issues in Human Subjects Research
Working with Dr. Ginette Blackhart at East Tennessee State University, I completed an undergraduate project where we examined participant honesty on post-experimental questionnaires (PEQs). I have continued this research at the University of North Dakota, completing a Master's thesis titled "Using Social Influence to Enhance Post-experimental Inquiry Success." After obtaining my Master's degree I took some time off from this line of research but work has recently been initiated to investigate several follow-up questions sparked by my thesis.
Our current project is titled "PEQ3" and this manuscript is in preparation.
Moral Differences
Here is a link to a video based on a presentation I gave at the first Kyle Kassman Celebration of Research on April 15, 2015. The G.A.S.P. lab has been working on at least one project a year on this subject and I am currently writing up part 1 for publication.
I taught a class in spring 2016 on "Psychology of Morality!" If you are interested in a course on moral values, complain to some people at VCSU until they ask me to teach it again.
Measuring Sexism
My dissertation adviser was Heather Terrell, Ph.D. I assisted in many of her research projects related to gender perceptions and sexism. After learning from Dr. Terrell and her lab while earning my Master's degree at UND, for my own Ph.D. I conducted a new set of studies on measuring sexism.
