Aswan Attractions

Aswan was once the trade center in Africa and Nuba, and the source of granite and limestones that many of famous pharaoh built their temples and obelisks from. It is south of Egypt passes by the Nile cataracts. Aswan attractions are located on Nile islands spread through The Nile and between cataracts. Aswan city has low population, and part of the inhabitants are living in Nubian villages.

Aswan attractions main feature is Philae island located on Philae island. The temple was saved by the UNESCO World Heritage Site from lake Naser. Also, there are the high dam of Aswan, the elephantine island where Khnum temple and Nubian museum. The botanical garden is a fine example of plants protectorates in Aswan, it hosts rare plants and trees exist nowhere else. The Nubian villages are very important Aswan attractions. It is inhabited by Nubian locals who have their own languages and traditions, their houses are made of mud and stone, colored by bright paintings and decorated by animal shapes.
