Here we go:

Anna,

above is how our game position looks on BG board at move 12!

I pressed on Move 12 and got the position. 

I am not sure what do you mean saying 

'my checkers are standing on the positions 1, 3,4,5,6 & 8'

Do you see what I mean by saying your move to 23 would cross my checker?

My priority is always to crowd that area ( is it my homeboard or your homeboard?)

I think we have more fun playing intuitively, w/o theory, cause our lives are to busy to follow every possible regulation, right? Free flow is important somewhere... : )
