About this site

About me

My name is Pepijn Rutten. Between 2001 and 2006, I worked in the field of medieval philosophy at Radboud University Nijmegen. I prepared a partial edition of the Tractatus problematicus and studied its influence on scholastic debates in the fifteenth century. For various reasons I left university in 2006 and did not continue the project.

Purpose of this website

The sole purpose of this website is to share the knowledge I gathered with scholars working on Heymericus de Campo, Albertism, or scholastic thought in general.

Disclaimer

The files published on this website contain some of the results of my work on Heymericus. Most of them were made in 2004-2006. The only exception is the paper on the Compendium physicorum, which I wrote in 2008. None of these documents have been published elsewhere.

Feel free to refer to these documents or quote from them, but please note that they have not been subject to peer review.
