Nallely Morales: President
I have been a passionate educator for 14 years, teaching Spanish to middle school, high school, and college students. For the last 4 years of my career, I have worked for Tempe Elementary and worked directly with gifted students who take my class as part of their curriculum. I am also a mother of two wonderful students who are also part of the gifted Tempe community. I am devoted to helping families and students succeed in the district always looking for ways to contribute to the healthy development of such families. I graduated from ASU with a bachelor's in secondary education, then I received my masters in Spanish Literature. Last year, I also completed my gifted teaching certification courses through ThinkLaw, an organization working towards implementing more critical thinking skills in the gifted curriculum. I am looking for ways to support more gifted families to have a thriving and healthy community.
Liz Mongrain: Vice President
I'm a mother of two - a son in 2nd grade at Fuller, and a daughter in kinder-prep. Both children will attend Arredondo next year, with my son participating in the ASPIRE program there. I've lived in Tempe for seven years and grew up in Mesa, attending the gifted program there and contributing some of my most influential and enjoyable school memories to the ELP program. During the day, I'm the Director of Communications at Honeywell Aerospace. Some of my most called-upon skills in this role include leadership, strategy, collaboration, and project management. My hobbies include music, writing, reading, exercise, and home improvement. I want to contribute back to this incredible community that has been so beneficial for my son and find ways to garner more support for gifted students, their teachers, and their parents.
Ryan Griffin: Secretary
