Town of Montgomery Conservation Advisory Council (CAC)

Established April 2005, by the Town of Montgomery, the Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) is an advisory unit of municipal government. The CAC provides pertinent environmental information to aid in the decision making process of the governing body. The CAC is a member of the NY Association of Conservation Commissions(NYSACC).

The Town of Montgomery CAC received 2 awards for their

 Rain Barrel Workshops in 2012

A group award for the Rainbarrel Project from the Hudson River Watershed Alliance, given at their conference on Oct. 12th at the Mohonk House.

The other was from the NYS Association of Conservation Councils (NYSACC) given at their award dinner of the Annual Conference on Oct. 12th in Syracuse, NY.
