Town of Montgomery Conservation Advisory Council (CAC)
Established April 2005, by the Town of Montgomery, the Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) is an advisory unit of municipal government. The CAC provides pertinent environmental information to aid in the decision making process of the governing body. The CAC is a member of the NY Association of Conservation Commissions(NYSACC).

2022 Events and Projects
Critical Environmental Areas - The Town of Montgomery Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) received a grant from the Hudson River Estuary Program and Hudsonia, Ltd. to work on a proposal to create a Critical Environmental Area in the Town based on information and recommendations in the updated Natural Resources Inventory of 2020 and the Town Comprehensive Plan of 2021.
