Established April 2005, by the Town of Montgomery, the Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) is an advisory unit of municipal government. The CAC provides pertinent environmental information to aid in the decision making process of the governing body. The CAC is a member of the NY Association of Conservation Commissions(NYSACC).

Events held in 2014

Trees for Tribs program along the Tin Brook  

The Spring of 2012, we once again were involved in the Trees for Tribs program.  We planted at two locations in Walden this year on the Tin Brook.  With the help of 60+ volunteers, we  planted 200 trees and shrubs along the Tin Brook in Walden, New York on May 6th, 2012..  (click here to see photos)
