Attaching multiple HMCs to a one display

This document reflects the experiences of Claude Pelletier and is based on a note he sent to us.

One of the labs in Beaverton ordered several HMCs with only one display and keyboard. They didn't know they were supposed to order a KVM switch. It turns out you can daisy-chain the HMCs together. You connect a cable from the C2T-out port on one HMC to the C2T-in port on the next HMC. The last one gets connected to the display. To switch displays among the HMCs you press a green button on the front of the HMC you want to display.
