December 20, 2013 marked Tom's 60th birthday. Events included a French Toast breakfast prepared by Rachel and Perry followed by a neighborhood walk with Rachel. Tom then raked up some Red Oak leaves in the yard and then Perry made some BLT sandwiches. Joan and Tom then enjoyed an afternoon matinee "Saving Mr. Banks" which was very good.
Later, we all headed up to get Jill for a nice family dinner. Jill invited us in to see her Christmas decorations. Surprise! It was all a ruse and Tom had no clue! Many friends had gathered to celebrate and all had a good time. And they brought canned goods for the Food Pantry as gifts! It was a fine day.
