(Posted 01/21/14): NOTICE: THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH SLEDS GOING OVER THE 10MPH SPEED LIMIT ON LOST LAKE ROAD (NEAR HWY 55) WHERE THERE ARE SOME RESIDENCES, ESPECIALLY WHERE THE TRAIL CROSSES OVER DRIVEWAYS. THIS TRAIL HAS HAD "SLOW" AND SPEED LIMIT SIGNS POSTED FOR MANY YEARS AND THERE WERE TWO MORE 10 MPH ADDED THIS AFTERNOON (ONE IN EACH DIRECTION) ALSO, I AM TOLD BOTH THE DNR AND LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED OF THIS PROBLEM AND IT WILL BE MONITORED BY BOTH AGENCIES. PLEASE FOLLOW THE 10 MPH SPEED LIMIT SIGNS OR THIS TRAIL WILL BE CLOSED. LOST LAKE ROAD IS A MAJOR TRAIL GETTING TO/FROM POST LAKE AREA AS WELL AS GETTING TO AND FROM PICKEREL LAKE.

(Posted 10/11/12) Pickerel Creek Rd. Issue: After many meetings with the Town Of Ainsworth Officials and your Club Officers and Board Members the passage of using Pickerel Creek Rd. has been granted with NEW STIPULATIONS:

1. There is a 25 MPH SPEED LIMIT

2. Snowmobiles are to be in SINGLE FILE ONLY

3. ALL Northbound will use the east side of the road and ALL Southbound traffic will use the west side of the road. (Just as if you were driving a car or truck.)

4. Pickerel Creek Rd. will not be groomed.

There is also a slight trail change through the woods getting on/off Pickerel Creek Rd. near Hwy T so you won't have to be on the road the entire time.

PLEASE RESPECT THESE STIPULATIONS OR THIS PASSAGEWAY WILL BE CLOSED.
